Babbacombe 30 June 2024

Babbacombe was basking in the sunshine today when six of the club's divers took to the water.

The viz today was better than last week at 4-5 metres. What a joy!

The marine life was out in force and Babbacombe did not fail to disappoint. We even had the seal patrolling the surface but was completely uninterested in the divers.

Plenty of marine life to see again this week, a lovely selection of crustaceans, lobster, small edible crabs, velvet swimming crabs, great spider crabs, common prawns. A pipefish tantalizingly half out from under a rock but only the tail end. A tompot blenny and a cute black blenny sitting on the end ended top of a pipe. Fascinating.

Great Dive!!
