Babbacombe our destination today with the weather looking a little misty and murky but fortunately the viz over the sea pool looked promising.
Two sets of divers set out, one pair practicing their Surface Marker Buoy use after previously completing their lesson and the other pair carrying out a dive leader lesson. All successful.
There was a combination of sea landscapes from rocky reef to flat sandy bottoms. We spotted a sole King scallop, and a young conger eel hiding in a hollow. A masked crab scuttling along the sand in front of us. Lobster, wrasse, bib, tompot blenny and a pipefish were found amongst the rocks and seaweeds.
Babbacombe never fails to deliver with the viz about 3-4 metres.
We love Babbacombe.
